As thjis has asked what are you trying to get?
with a normal universal lnb and the box lnb settings set to 9.750/10.600(the setting for a universal lnb) you will get a huge amount of channels if you change the settings to 9.750/10.750 you will lose a lot of Transponders.to get the most signals from as many sats and their transponders its mainly down to dish size. There are other lnb types but I wouldnt worry about them.(google LNB types if you can handle all the info),I cant

I had not been looking for anything but I had noticed from playing about to try to understand things whilst on the sat set up menu. For example, that with LNB frequency set to 9.750/10.600 and scrolling through the transponders, that I cannot get a signal from Transponder 92 on 28E. (both quality and signal bars are red).

If I change the LNB frequency to 9.750/10.750 when on this transponder then a clear yellow (93%) and 69% blue (quality) signal is shown. My dish is 60cm, so is this the dish size an issue do you think?

It is just understanding why this happens that I am finding difficulty with. Thanks again thjis and dick b

I have had the system for a couple of years and have enjoyed using it but never been beyond the basic user guide.

you will have to give the transponder details for your TP(92) TP 92 will not be the same for me(cant find an official TP92) as I"m always deleting and changeing them.dish size will not be an issue on 28.2E.you must remember these boxes are sold in different markets and the lnb setting 9.750/10.750 will be for use with different sats than are available to us.

Thanks for the reply, My transponder 92 is 12.441V/27.500 (whatever that means). I tried again tonight and the same results as before, so unsure if I am missing out on some stations.

as far as I can make out that transponder used to transmit BBC streams but stopped doing so on OCT 7.check out Home - FlySat Satellite Chart for available channels but leave your lnb setting as 9.750/10.600 you will still get some channels with the other setting but lose those above about 11.900.
sky may be using 12.441V 27500 for some of their encrypted channels now but these are not receivable with the normal lnb settings of 9.750/10.600.

Thanks again, I understand now what you mean, so I have left it as normal and will tidy up the unwanted channels and TPs.

Hi. The best think to do is as follows:
              A) Delete incorrect or dead transponders.
              B) Do BLIND SEARCH. This will find missing channels and update your transponder list. Repeat this procedure for each satellite. Also do a BLIND SEARCH on a monthly basis like i do. Regards.
