    Tm 5402HD help needed

I am new to all this tecno stuff especially with satelitte equipment! I live in the republic of Mancunia, The city of Champions.

Anyways enough of the footy banter! I have just bought and had installed a Tecnomate TM5402 HD Ci + motorised system.

The engineer came out fitted the equipment and showed me the the pictures working, Got paid and done one!

The problem i have is as follows...

1.. I am being told that i need to update my box for it to carry on working to its maximum protencial???

2.. How do i know and select programmes and put them into an easy to use favorite page?

3..I have sports and a few movies, How do i get the box office movies (that if you can)

4.. The supplier i used tells me i have to pay him x amount every year for me to keep getting the package? The thing is (pardon my ignorance) I don,t have a pre pay card, All that it is , is that i have had my system connected to my wireless router, So how does he monitor who is up for subs? He does not have my telephone number? His he pulling a fast one?

5...Please help me in child mode into how i can add transponders to my box! I am looking for more footy channels, movies.

    Thank you all in advance

Firstly you have just funded some low life scum bag and because of people like him our hobby is under threat. He is running what we call payservers.

You should have read up on things first then joined this forum and ask how to get started and you would have got help from start to finish.

BTW you wont get box office movies these are PPV.

I am very sorry keano if i have offended you and others on the forum!

As i said i bought the system to enable me to watch the scouse game weekend and the family can watch movies. And as i have said i am very nieve when it comes to technology.

Please explain what you mean by payservers, Either on here or in private. Cheers Redmanc

m8 you don't need to apologise I am just angry that another scum bag finds a way to make money out of innocent people.

You have paid now so its too late but just don't pay him next year.
He will have a little book with your name in and when payment is due and will expect your phone call.

What you need to do is have a read on the forum.

In a nutshell you have bought a receiver which is like a pc and is able to connect via internet to another box ( or pc ) which we call a server. In this server is a real satellite card which contains the magic keys that unscrambles pictures so you can view pictures that you are not suppose to. So your receiver with its special software tries to open lets say sly sports but it can't because it does not know the special key so it goes to a IP address that is in the config file and at this IP address it finds the viewing card which contains the magic key it then can open sly sports. All this is done in a split second.

M8 I do live in Manchester but trust me everything you need and all the help you need is on this forum and when you do it yourself you will feel dam good.

I knew nothing when I first started out about 8 years ago but just by reading and asking when stuck did I learn.

The good thing is you do now have a motorised system, I take it you have tested it and it follows the arc. The arc is what we call the line of satellites in the sky.
