softcam keys for the Techno TM 5402HD Cl+

Hi guys!

Do i need a usb to installed softcam keys or do you do it through your remote control. I have not loaded any patches has i have no usb! HELP!!!!!! please

yes best and quikest way would be with usb but you will have to patch your tm first too have a look a the noobs guide how to patch it is very simple once you know how too and always
use the adviced way of loading new patches
1)back up channel list
2)factory reset
3)load original technomate firmware(can be got from technomate.uk download section)
4)factory reset
5)load latest patch (load latest addon after this if you did not do this before)
6)factory reset
7)put back channellist and rescan all channels in use
if you don't use this method in between patches you might get stuck with bugs/problems on your tm
cause old bits of patches/firmware may remain in your tm.
after this you can load latest softcam keys they change every so often so always use the latest.

Thanks for this. I have had my 5402 for a while now and needed to reset it. Being an oldie I had completly forgotten the steps to set up the box. Your info worked a treat. Needless to say I have copied your instructions and saved them for when I need to do it again.

Hello everyone, as you see my name is Egas, and I am the latest newbie on the forum, . I have the all the software for my tm 5402 apart from from the server addon and cannot find it anywhere, any help will be much appreciated.
