Hi MIki. Thanks for that info - it gives me hope. Like i said i am going to buy the soldering iron this morning so i can start to operate on that damn cable. Is it possible to buy a null modem cable with the wires already crossed or do you have to do it yourself?? Take care and thanks again.

Hi. I bought a soldering iron but i must admit it looks a bit scary to unsolder pns 2 and 3 and cross them over because all the pins are close to each other . I will try it in daylight when i can see better. Regarding drivers how can i find out if i have them?? I did get an installation cd with the cable which i have installed ok, would the drivers be on there?. Any further help appreciated before i start soldering the cable. Regards.Comment
