technomate TM-1500 CI+

hi all , my first post srry bare with me.
done a garage clear out and found this type of box, not had much experience with this type of thing... got a sky dish up already, what can I do with this box.. I think this is the place to be to find out all the info I need.
It came with a dragon card , wich i think could be the cam i've read about in other post... srry again i'm a complete noob at this stuff , hope one of you tech guys can help.

dragon wont get anything on a sly dish

the box is excellent for all the freesat chennels , just tune them in and sort out the order , or input a recent tm1000 channel list instead

you can check what the fta freesat channels are at the freesat website

you wont open anything scrambled without a patch and tmsoftcam , and even then nothing on a sly dish , as any opened channels are elsewhere like bulsat on 39e

if its not on here then google for the softcam for your box , plenty of sites update it regularly

as for a dish you need a motorised dish using a diseqc v1.2 motor , dish size about 1 metre , a low noise lnb like 0.2 or 0.1 and a good line of sight from a south facing wall with no obstructions

typically this could be a triax dish of between 80cm and 110cm in size , a darkmotor or tm2600 motor , and an inverto ultrablack lnb , thats similar to my setup anyway

but if you went to all that trouble you really need a spiderbox or similar , so the costs really mount up , but you did ask !!

Unlock what password?
If password needs unlock then use 2011

Hi. If 2011 dont work try 0000 - usually default pin number for TM's. Regards.

2011 over writes all, it's the master code.

Hi Manc. Tried 2011 in my TM5400 SUPER and it worked. So i now have two pin numbers to use. Have to try this 2011 on my dodgy credit card to see if it gives me free money!!!!!
