    ftp

first open dreambox(dcc)make sure the system can see each other, router computer and box,if not reconnect-then on FTP click once, this will open commander lines, like little yellow briefcases-at the bottom look for VAR open it by double clicking, then ETC,scroll down to CCAM.providers and single left click, then one right click,on your computer you should have downloaded a file called ccam 213,214,212 etc..onto your desktop, mine says "Cccam Providers" Edit By Informed Update 15-07-2010 then under that is 010000 "mediaguard CAi d" next line is 0100002 "(old) Orbit"
and so on,this tells the computer what you should have and can use- if its the CCcam.cfg missing, then that is the setup for clines you either share or pay for- all the best, kazzgirl.

use dreambox control center to ftp your files into your tm500... i use dcc when ftp,ing into my tm600 without any problems. if you get stuck just ask and someone will help you. regards mdt

use your mouse to the bottom left and then double click ftp, now find your c**am config file on the right(browse your pc for it) then find var on the left and double click, then find ect and double click, now highlight your config file on the right and the press the arrow in the middle to send it from your pc(right box) to your sat box(left box) and it will tell you underneath that the file has been transfered. repeat the proceadure for the keys-to-var/keys and the scce-to-var/scce. i know it seems very complicated but just keep trying and you will get there, sorry for my explanation! LOL. regards mdt

nobody is telling you that to use dcc and ftp into your box then you need to change dcc password from dreambox to the password you have for tm if you dont have one the use technmate control centre to change password put new password in DCC when you click ftp click var then etc ,if you have a cccam confiq in the folder you will see it on left hand side click this and select edit you can now edit the line if you cant see it get a new one get it prepared put on your pc desktop now when you click etc change the list on right hand side to your desktop highlight the prepared file and click the arrow that points to lefthand scree on dcc and new file will be installed

you could go to the addons and download a c**am full file not a .bin file(eg.. c**am 2.1.1 full) which will include the config file then send it to the right box in your pc using ftp,go to it and open it using wordpad and delete all the shite. now put your details in the file.. example.. C: abcdefg.1234.org 22000 login pass and then save it . now ftp it back into your box and reboot. have patience you will get there eventually, regards mdt
