Entering long. & latit. values

Using dish pointer the values of latitude is 53.7454 and longitude is -1.6102

Now when I enter these values into my crap TM800 HD I put:
Latitude 053.745 North
Longitude 001.610 West

is what I am putting correct?

sounds good to me if a bit precise 53.7 N and 1.6 W is usually good enough
