help for tm6900hd combo

hi, need help on tm6900hd combo,
while retuning my motorised dish after a windy day , i was checking the cables from the motor as well as to the LNB.
This one at the lnb end suddenly just came off and i assume
i made a short, consequently my receiver has now gone dead.I am told that these machines have no protection from the LNB shorts. My question is what can be done or what would be the primary breakdown on this machine. would it
affect the power supply board or would it zap the main board, your help would be appreciated.

IS there any sign of life at all?

hello, no life at all, however, there is power into the machine fuse was checked and all ok. also not getting the rite voltages on the pins plug that feeds the main board.
