Cam and other updates for TM 500

New to this forum, but looks a bit more lively than the others i have been signed up with, so hello to everyone.

Had my TM500 for a bit now and i've been FTP'ing key files no problem. The last UR image was back in August so i'm guessing the support for this box might well be over with regards to this.

However, its still a pretty impressive box and works well. But, as the blue button updates for cams seems almost over, i just need some advice from the more experienced people on here on how to update newer versions of cams (bin and cfg) and where to put them within the file structure...

Also, i've read something on here about 'patching'? Is this different to loading new images and key files?

I'm not too interested in CS, just want to know how to keep my box as updated as possible with a view to Cams etc channels available via keys...

Patching is for non linux receivers.
If only using keys via softcams etc no need to update any cams.

Cheers Manic - then i just update using the DMbox keys as normal.

I cant seem to get an Can**l Dig1t**l channels, (i have a monoblock 13+19) - is that just the way it goes for a simple TM500 owner?
