    DCW/CCW/BISS

    Hi

I've done the 8280 and I have a load of hex characters for each "slot". I want to add a key, but I have no empty slots. So I'll just overwrite the first in the list, I guess?

For a CCW/DCW (whatever C/D means, the CW I can make an educated guess) key I sometimes see things like this:

    CW0:1234567890AABBCC CW1DEEFF0011223344

So, do I put all 16 bytes in, or just 8 bytes and then pad the rest with 00? I have tried with some keys and they don't work (and I know they last a short time) but these are from today, in theory.

Or have I got all this woefully wrong? Hope someone can help me out!

    Cheers

Hi. BISS keys are usually 16 characters long and DCW/CCW are 32 characters long. As already mentioned before you insert the keys you must be on the channel itself as you need to attach the keys to the channel. If you have 32 character spaces in your menu then you need to add 16 zeros after the BISS key. For other keys like SECA, IRDETO etc you dont need to be on any particular channel when inserting the keys. Regards.

Most of those keys are CW keys and will have expired.
