    struggling techno newbie

Hi had a technomate 5402hd for about 6 or 7 months, its all been fine until recently, now all the channels that i had (except free to air ones) are coming up 'scrambled channel', done the usual switch off and on (hope im not losing anyone with my technical know how) and still no joy..how do i check that my subscription is still workin (a year one) before i phone and start moaning. Also will doing a factory reset lose any of the flashed info on the box or will i have to get it done again. jon Liverpool.

if you do factory reset the sea lion remains but you will loose your channellist you would have to back these up first.and have a look here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...6/#post1380415
