Please can some one offer advice or comment on the following
At a low volume setting on my box I get poor quality audio best described as the audio + background hiss reminds me of when a tuning old analogue TV stations i.e. station needed to be fine tuned to obtain optimum audio and picture. However despite the poor audio the picture output from box is A OK both HD and SD.
For the recored the audio settings are Stereo, English, Medium, Dolby Spdif. My hardware connection is video / audio by HDMI cable.
Using the cable I have connected my DVD to the TV and both audio and video are A OK.
