cyfra+ on technomate 7102

Guys

Just bought a cyfra+ card from here Satsklep / CYFRA + torecevie canal+ on hotbird.
I belive its a mediaguard card whatever that means???
hotbird is working because i can view the fta stuff from hotbird

I have a technomate 7102 receiver

I assume i just stick the card in the slot and it should work? But it doesnt. And i even turned the card over in case i put it in the wrong way

Now im new to this so if im doing something wrong or missing out on something please let me know!!

Hi, I don't know much about that receiver but just make sure
you have the latest patches & files for it, then you will have more chance of the card opening.

Also, i have just looked at the website & for a 13 month card it is ?156 , is that the card you got ?

either your smartcard reader does not support the encryption seca/mediaguard 4 check with technomate or you may need a seperate cam,or the card may need authorising (card seller should know about that)

Aston cam clears as well as cccam.
TM should clear but may need activation signal from supplier sent first.
