trying to get horizontal on 39e

guys i have a tech 5400super and my problem is i am on 39e and i can only get novasport, diema etc! on vertical and they will not open with the latest softcam and patch yet on the spiderbox9000, tec6800hd they do open, would you think its because its on vertical thats where the problem lies, as i say no problem with the other 2 boxes, it baffles me because the other boxes do the job on the vertical, i find getting some of the other channels on horizontal with exception to nova and diema come out nds etc! with the 5400, i wonder if its something to do with the position of the lnb, i have the lnb pionted to the right hand side of the dish, similar to how it would be for 42e

bulsat channels on 12.524 H 30000,12565 H 30000,and 12688 H 30000 are all open on a TM5400 super with patch 153. check you have correct skew should be about -25 degrees.on a fixed dish if you have a motor skew should be "0".
What vertical transponders are you getting with what channels?

if you are recieving the said channels on 2 other stb,s from the same dish/lnb then the tm5400 is at fault... could be lnb/pol/22khz setting in the menu,s or im guessing here as i dont know how your system is set up but the tm5400 could be driving the dish to far/not far enough when moving to 39e or seeing as you can only get vertical(13v) and not horizontal(18v) it could also be a power issue on the tm5400. regards mdt

well the lnb is set at UNIVERSAL, the lnb frequency set at 9750/ 10600, and the 22khz set at auto thats how they always are, the other channels on, 19e, 5e, i get them no problem, all this applies to 2 5400s i have and as far as the spiderbox9ooo and the tech6800hd there is no problem with them 2 boxes, pictures no problem, its a fixed dish i use.

I couldnt get patch 155 to open anything you want 153p followed by latest softcam.

no luck, do you know i think the problem might be i can only get the diema and nova on vertical, i just cannot seem to get them on horizontal, possibly thats where the problem lies, although with the spiderbox and tech6800hd the pictures come on vertical

as far as I know all bulsat are on H pol including nova and diema,what frequency in "V" are you getting channels on?
I notice in your post#4 you say 19E and 5E are ok,as you have a fixed dish how are you recieving these by multi lnbs or by moving the dish by hand? I still suspect skew may be a problem.

i have a couple of dishes one dish 1.1 triax thats for the 19e, 13e sats, (diseqc switch) another 1w and THE ODD OCCASION 5e which i move by hand and 1 more fixed on 39e for the dAY WHEN THE SPIDERBOX FINISHES, yes the more i think about it, the more i am thinking it could be the lnb, does it need tweaking a bit , does it need another lnb, i wonder i wonder, because i have tried most other things, when i put the cable from 39e east into the spider or the tech6800hd the pictures come on, its just that from a piont of view of seeing 39e on a 5400 it just wont work, i have even factory resetted it but still no joy, i usually know my stuff but on this occasion i am stumped, i will listen to anybody as far as the 5400s (2) is concerned, dont mention a motor i have been there, the wind on the coast can be rough sometimes

Its your reference to getting "nova" on "V" polarity that puzzles me as its only on "H".looking from behind the dish you should have about 25 degrees of skew in an anticlockwise position.
it almost sounds like the lnb vertical spike is trying to get horizontal polarities.What vertical transponders are you getting?its unlikely to be the boxes as you say you have tried 2 of them.

thanks for the softcam, 6800hd works straight away but not on 5400, i have just checked the spiderbox and the tech6800, its unusual but i get the pictures on the spider and the 6800 in vertical but not with the 5400 and on the vertical the encryption shows as irdetto and on the horizontal it shows nds, its like everthing is upside down, the oppisite way round etc! as far as the lnb is concerned it is roughly 25 degrees clockwise, frequencys where picture shows 12688 v, 12524 v but no pictures on the h which shows as nds

Impossible to be getting them on Vertical polarity.
Thats if skew is correct

there is something wrong somewhere alright mate as 12.524V and 12.688V are both"Dolce" TPs with NDS encryption.
do you get the FTA channel "the voice"on 12.524 H 30000?
