    Newbie Technomate

    Hi,

I bought a a Technomate 5402HD, from what i know 9which is very little), I have switched it on and all working, it had the special 8281 menu available, so i installed a channel list downloaded from the site using USB > Data Transfer > red Button and then normal.

The issue i am having is that after the channel list, i goto bbc1 and it says no signal/no reception.

Can anyone advise what i am doing wrong...

it's not> red button it's ok on the channel list file then ok on normal you are using the tm's default list at the moment and that's well out of date

Hi. If your dish is aligned properly then do A BLIND SEARCH. It will tell you which satellite you are on, if any, and will give you an up to date channel list. If the BLIND SEARCH dont find anything then you have a problem with alignment etc. Regards.

Hi. I think when you download a channel list from somebody it will only give you a list of the satellites and channels that they have tuned in to their receivers. You will need to create your own list of favourites and groups etc. Regards.
