Total Noob - Why did I buy it

    Hi,

I have a TM 5200D Super USB. All seems to be working fine and I am getting all of the Freesat channel (I believe). I am not thinking whether or not I am missing any channels I am suppose to get with this unit. If this unit get just the basic Freesat channels then why would you want this instead of getting a standard Freesat box from, say, ASDA. That might be cheaper.

BTW; I am pointed toward 28.2 and have a mini dish.

I am defo missing a point here somewhere.

    Thanks.

Thanks Sadiq. Would you be able to recommend a particular dish/motor and a dealer around London area or a web based seller?

      Thanks.

Look on wizardsatellite mate or southern satellite...any motor will do same with the dish.. You can buy whole systems without receivers altogether so that should be easy..
        Get a 80cm dish minimum but try a 90cm or 1m...
Installation is difficult but possible even for newcomers..its patience which will get it all up..

          Same boat

I'm pretty much in the same boat as yourself, but a plus of the 5200 is that you can record programs (I don't think your Asda Freesat can do that, but I may be wrong) and as has already been said, once you get your dish motorised there's a lot more to see. I'm taking a step at a time and seeing what's there before investing in motorisation.
