it states in the info with the patch,what added features it has
but others are posting these faults with the v688 patch
Rebooting & memory loss issues with the blind scan, Dolby Audio reported as fixed & working ok though which is nice, but not vital unless you have the necessary audio gear hooked up, so if you're happy with updating DigiTv keys Which has'nt been very often lately. then stick to the patch you're on your receiver

try this Ive installed V688p and tm softcam dated 06/08/09 all running fine, tm6000 original series do not have blind scan.

if you go into the receiver menu and go to the options section
and turn the A/U on for digi-tv the patch will keep the keys updated for you and you wont need to load the softcam except for channels on other sats like rai and globo on hotbird 13e when there keys change. the tm softcam is for all the super and non super models and the blind scan is on the super model only thats the model the patch is said to be having problems with

Hello mate,
I understand what your saying it just my tm6800 does not seem to AU perhaps I"m just not waiting long enough.
I have a tm1000 I play around with in my shed and that AUs ok no trouble so I either use that to get the keys and put them in the 6800 by the handset or load the latest softcam.

has any one managed to get a external hard drive to work on their tm 6800 (non super)?
I can only get usb pen drives to work.
