USB to RS232 cable please help

if a message shows saying cant find reciever or something to that effect it more than likely the wrong one. dont give up there tho post a new thread with new problem and someone will confirm if it is that. The reason i said make sure you got right one is because many peeps been having probs with fleabay goods and it has been a costly experience sending them back or sellers saying they dont want it returned if it been opened, how else are you spose to try it . if it is wrong try and see if a local eletrical supplier can get you one, i know they are a bit more expensive but at least you will be up and running quicker which far outweighs the time it takes to get one from ebay then returning it and getting a new one.

i told you in a earlier post that you also need a usb to serial converter as well as a null modem cable, and that if your computer is on vista premium home the maplins one i posted a picture for you works first class i use the same one and vista will load a drive for it you dont need to use the driver disc that comes with it, as for all other cables and networking peripherals etc: this is a supplier that has everything at prices that cant be beaten any where and his service is second to non you can get extra long null modem cable 5mtrs for less than a fiver to check the prices look here:-- w*w.kenable.com/
