Any advantage Diablo Cam v Patches

I have a technomate 5400 c+i, I currently load patches through usb stick. Would there be any advantages of buying a Diablo Cam and programmer?

the diablo cam gives you the digialb chns on eutelsat 16e
you get all of the digialb chns except there HD chns these are linked to a dedicated card and box only. you also get the kabelkiosk chns on 9e and 8w satellites [these chns are down at the moment waiting for keys] and best of all the cam opens the canal+nordic channels on thor 1w and there are lots of film,sport.discovery,cartoon,adult chns mostly in english and the cam also opens all the channels the patch opens, now it's upto you if you want lots more better chns to watch and want to spend the ?130 or so for the diablo and cas3

I was looking through my available satellites and can only see thor 1w on the list, the other satellite's that you listed, how do i get these? can i program them myself, if so where can i find the co-ordinates?

hi m8,
if your looking at the sats you have set on a technomate
it only shows the sats that have been set. to set other satellites
you turn the receiver on then on the remote press menu and go to
satellite setup click>ok now you will see the satellite set up panel
at the top highlighted is the satellite your dish is set on>click ok
and a small panel opens where you will see all the satellites the
satellites on your list will have a tick again'st them to add satellites
you scoll down the list and add the satellites you want to add
when you get to a satellite you press yellow to put a tick again'st
the sat when you have add the sats you want you exit the menu
and go tomotorised setting>click.ok on the top line highlighted
you click>ok and useing the vol buttons on the remote you scoll
to a sat you have added and when the sat name appears on the top line
you scroll down to move and send the dish east or west untill you
find the sat and get the strongest signal then scroll down to save>ok
then press the red button to scan you do this for all the sats youve
added to your list

I wouldnt run off spending money at the moment ! Conax are due to chang the encryption later this year upgrading it to a newer version, it unclear if present Duolabs products will handel the upgraded encryption or if the reason for conax upgrade is of course to stop providers using Conax encryption who sell on there keys to third party companys like Duolabs to increase revenue in indirect subscriptions.

Hi, new here.

I have just installed a 6800 super with a diablo cam. for some reason i have to restart the TM about every 10 channel changes as the diablo (UW1.62) stops working any ideas

Use a older Patch for your 6800 super according to Benny there are a few issues with the latest patchs , this may sort out your problem.
