How do i get NOVA on Technomate 3200D+

Hi i have just bought a technomate 3200D+ system with a 1m motorised dish.

My mate has Greek Nova Sat and was wondering how you can get that, I am new to all of this??

He told me he has a card or something that auto - updates. What is this?

can anyone help, and let me know what i need, where i can gt it from and how to program the card?

to get the nova channels on hotbird 13e you need a official subscription card for there service. or get yourself a gamma card and a cas3 programmer, this will cost about ?150 for both card and programmer, and this is how you program the card with the cas 3

with the new CAS STUDIO v8.6c this is how to update your gamma cards using a a plug b plug [a standard printer cable] and without a serial cable

STEPS for succesfull programming with the cas 3 or the cas3+ programmers

1 connect power usb cable of cas3 programmer to your pc/laptop
2 open the cas studio software loader panel
3 click the smart card tab on the loader panel
4 next click the gamma card box
5 insert your gamma card chip down in the cas3 card reader
[the card details IE: atr will appear on the panel if card is active]
6 click the folder on the flash bar at the bottom of the panel, to find and load
the file that you have downloaded and taken from the zipped folder ready to load
7 next click the write button on the panel and the file will load onto the card
[the file will over write the earlier file],[if the card new it will load the file on it]
8 you must wait untill you see the file loaded compleatly 100% on the panel
9 then you close and exit the cas studio software panel the card will now open the channels

as stated by benny you either need an official card or a gamma card and to program the gamma card you need a programmer such as the cas3.

benny also posted steps on how to program it....above ^^^^^^^^^

you then asked where to get software from which i presumed was for the cas3 which benny posted from w*w.duolabs.com

is the cas studio software your asking about or for the files for the gamma card? first you need to set to get the software for the cas 3 programmer and this is how you load this software on your computer for the cas 3 to work properly. before you can load any cards or cam files

first go to duolabs.com website and download the latest
cas studio software. at this time it's [v8.6c],and download it
to a folder on your computer where it wont be deleated by
accident, next do not connect your [cas3] programmer to the computer usb port untill you have opened extracted all and you have run the cas studio software.when the cas studio software has fully loaded and finished, you will find a shortcut on your desktop for the cas studio software loader panel, now connect your cas 3 programmer and click the shortcut on your desktop to open the cas studio software loader panel. and when it opens you should
see a green light at the bottom left of the panel and a message saying
cas3 interface connected.waiting to start program, this shows the
cas3 programmer has been recognised and it's working.

this is the newest one i could find m8 Digital Kaos - Downloads - Gamma update 12/02/09 nova update

not sure what its like though as ive read reports that the update files arent lasting long
