3000 remote problems

The 0 on my remove has stopped working, i have made all physical checks but all is ok..the only way the zero works is if i get a pen and push down as hard as i can, is there a technical fix? Maybe putting something in between the 0 button and the actual board..
Please help..

i used to get this years ago on the remote for the
manhattan plaza st550 you had to enter all keys
with the remote and the contacts got pushed apart
i opened the remote and super glued a few layers of silver paper
on the contacts and that got the buttons working again
other than this it was a new remote at ?27 from manhattan
have you checked what a new remote costs before trying a repair?
i still have the st550 receiver in mint condittion but needing a remote

on the manhattan remote the case came in two halves, the front
with all the buttons on it and the back part had the electronic panel
after revealing the board and i just super glued little circles
of cooking foil both on the contacts on the internal board contacts
and on the internal side of the buttons on the front remote
cover and this got the buttons working again, i dont know if the
tm remote has the same set up or can be opened in the same way
with softcams the remote gets very little wear

Ive opened the remote and the green board does come away from the buttons..is there any specific glue i should use?

-get a remote control that u don't use.
-open it & and slice off a thin piece off the black contact from the other side of the button the same as the one that doesn't work (button can be circle or rectangle)1-2mm
-Slice off the same size off the button that doesn't work and super glue the one you sliced off previously from a good remote. Make sure the sliced off pieces are the same size. It will be as good as new .

i just used a tube super glue. but before you try anything
what about looking if cleaning the contacts would help
it could just be they have collected dust or got a greasy residue
on the contacts, for this i would use a solvent degreaser
that is used on electrical contacts like computers etc:

All seems sorted..this is what i did.. I got the board and looked at it closely and i could see a slight crack on the 0..so i just thought if trial and error..first up was sticking a minor amount of blue tack on the actual rubber 0button where the pad and board touch..in the blue tac i left a wire from a led circuit..now it works..
