Transponer list on 5400CI

When I scan Thor sat it does not list the transponder 12.341, or more to the point Nova sport with conax encryption. I get plenty on Thor, but not the one I want!!!

Anyways, I have a Techmate 5400 CI+ with diablo cam runnig underworld.

After many delete and rescan Sadiq pointed out it's a common glitch but I need a patch with update transponer list.

Now, this is where I'm a little stuck. Have read if you use wrong patch it's not a good idea. On the technomate website there is a patch "TM-5400 CI+ USB & TM5600 CI USB"

States underneath Transponers updated.

Now this all sounds obvious to you savvy techheads, but I need instructions to turn on a light switch.

If I load this patch and rescan, would transponder 12.341 (Nova) now show?? and could I run my Diablo CAM with it????

Last bit, would I need to factory reset, or just re boot and away I go??????

any software you get from technomate.com is not a patch
it's the official opperating software that allows the receiver
to work correctly and scan the channels etc but it only opens
the free to air channels, you can then use the diablo cam to
open the scrambled channels, or if you wish you can like most
technomate users load the latest patch from the forum
the patches are the official software with third party software added to open some the scrambled chns and the patches contain all the latest updates from technomate, plus you can use the patch and the cam they dont clash i like many others use the cam for the conax channels and the
patch for everything it opens, as for the transponder you say a scan is missing just add the transponder in the advanced search feature and scan it then the channel will open for you the tm 6900 original box misses some of the HD chns on thor and have to be added after that they work this is why when you have all your chns in good working order you should
keep a copy of the chn list on your computer then after any factory reset or other problems you can just reload the list back on the receiver and always remember to use the correct patch of official software you must only load the correct version IE: original or super for your receiver, if not sure your handbook will say if it's a super etc and if it does'nt say super
on the receiver it uses the original patch only

If when I scan the sat would the transponder not show??

I did put the number in (I think) blind search, but after around 0.5 seconds it was finished and nothing.

Silly question, but TP update on the software description, what would this do????

If I go to advance search, then search that TP number, would it find it???!?!?!?!?!

Am thinking of going back to my old betamax. Heads spinning a little!!!

On the technomate sticky- Technomate 5000 series Patch - there are many patches. Would it be the last one ie, the one you posted????
