Need Help Urgently

Hi All, Posted for the first time yesterday asking for info on Dutch channels and got excellent replies. Got loads of Dutch channels but now have another problem. I also downloaded the channel list for TM5402HD which was great except I have lost all my other channels including the Dutch ones. All I have now are the programs on the channel list for Astra 2 28.2E. Anyone know what I have done wrong. I have tried loading the satellites back in but none of the programs work. Your help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi. Try to do a blind scan on the 19.2 satellite and your channels should come back.

I have got the channels back on 19.2 and reloaded the software but still can't get anything to work. Seems really screwed up. Thanks for reply.

try reloading the softcam and if that doesnt work you can add the key for c+nl manually in the cas menu while on a dutch channel(ned1) and it should clear,regards mdt

Hi. Have you loaded the latest keys for Dutch channels?? Do you get any channels opened on 19.2?? Also is your dish correctly aligned to 19.2??

Thanks guys, have reloaded the software and can now get Ned and RTL channels. Still can't understand why I lost everything after loading channel list though. Technology eh! Thanks again.

Hi. If you did a factory reset after loading channel list you will probably lose most things. Also channel lists can vary from one person to another which is why i never copy other people's list.
I always prefer to do blind scans and create my own channel lists. Its nothing to do with technology but the way that people use it.

Back up your channel list now on usb stick.

The reason you lost everything after installing the 28.2 channel list is because I'm betting you chose to save it to normal instead of default, normal is where any channels go you have scanned from box. In future always scan your 19.2 first then when you put the usb in with 28.2 list backup your 19.2 (for safety) then install the 28.2 list to the default db setting. (You must have a channel list saved to the normal db setting i.e your scanned channels before you can save to the default db).

Hi. In TM5400 SUPER when using DEFAULT DB it does not restore any channels but reboots the box anyway. NORMAL DB restores all channels from list and reboots.
