Technomate 500 HD - Bricked?

Hi all,

I have been installing patched on my 500 HD, when rebooted it's hit the Loading screen and doesn't progress. The Dreambox Control Centre doesn't detect it. Any way to boot it?

I've been following the guide religiously and I'm sure it's one of those "You have to press the next button within 0.5ms or leave it 2 secs" job. The bloody thing doesn't seem to do anything, the USB stick isn't being read (it works) and the lights flash until I get frustrated and unplug the sodding thing (about 30 mins later).

The man/woman who solves this will have crafted flowers personally delivered!

Can you not access the box via the http page to load up an image, press the ok button on startup hold it in and it gives u the ip address then see if u can access it via your pc

Sounds to me that the image is corrupt or not the right one for the job so access the boot loader to reinstall

No luck. I literally cannot get past the "Starting" screen, going to port scan now on 192.168.*.* to see if I can find anything.
