Low Connection

Hi,

I have recently tried to install the dish on my balcony. I got the latitude for my area to be 51.4N and the longitude to be 0.154W.

I have installed the motor to the steel pole at the angle 39 inclined elevation angle according to the latitude table and the dish is attached to the motor at a decline elevation angle of 22.6, but I am still not getting a low signal of about 10%. Could anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong.

Have you put those co-ordinates in your receiver and then driven the dish to 0.8? west and then tried aligning your dish, By the way the dish elevation will need to be altered start at 25? and work up if still no signal work down.

And just to be on the safe side on your motor does it give both elevation and latitude settings, as you say if it does you are correct the latitude side should nbe around 51 and the elevation side 39.
