    Technomate 7600 2VA

    just a wuick question really. im looking at buying a Technomate 7600 2VA.

    Just wondering if i can view all channels. Do i just need a firmware update or do i need a card aswell?

    hi m8,
    as a long time technomate user can i say dont go for a tm7000 series they are a first class model but they now dont have any support for official software or patch up dates and if you get this model you will also need to buy cards or cams and a programmer and these items cost as much as the receiver to buy, i would go for one of the new usb models
    if your not bothered about aHD receiver i would say take a look at the tm 5400 models or if you want HD then take a look at the tm 6000 models and these models have lots of support for patches to open some channels for you but to get more you will need a cam etc:

      Nice one mate,

      Yeh il look into the 5400.

      The satellite boxes seem alot more complicated than the cable boxes.
