Hi All,
I am new to this although I have had my Technomate TM 5200D for a few years now and it has worked faultlessly.

Recently it was playing up so stupidly I did a factory resent and everything just disappeared! When turned on it just shows 0000 and does not do anything at all or even show up on my TV.

Am I correct assuming that if I upload a software I may get it back again? If yes, how do I load a original software?

Hi Andy. By doing a factory reset you have reset your channel list, audio etc etc back to original state. The factory reset will not overwrite any patches or software that you had. What satellite were you watching before the reset as i suspect it may have gone back to the default satellite. You probably need to go into Installation menu and set it up again. Look in your receiver manual for advice( if you have one). Do you have a fixed or motor system??

Hi Mate,
Apology for the delay as I have been away on business.

The problem I have is that when I turn it on nothing comes on screen even the menu, if I was getting something I could work with it but absolutely nothing, I get the clock at 00:00 then nothing at all! I can't get any menus at all non of the buttons do anything and that is why I thought I had wiped the software completely.

Many thanks for your reply by the way and it is a fixed satellite. It was working fine and I was trying to ass some favourites and wouldn't work so I thought reset should do it but nope, all gone now!
