CH4 HD some installation help please

Looking for some guidance on how to go about enabling a 6900 to view Ch4 HD.

I've got all the pids and old s*y card. What I am needing help with is do I need to purchase a cam to do it or can I use the smart card slot after patching the unit. If it is possible to patch, what do I need?

Any help/ guidance would be great.

hi john you need to update to 672p (not 674p)then s*y card will work if you look on old posts you will see you need to scan sat it will then show up as a number (10 ??) you can edit it later.. which 6900 have you got ?? make sure you use correct patch (standard or super )

if your asking about the freeview card it needs to be activated in a official
s*y receiver left on overnight on chn 5 untill the card is working again
it could take quiet a time if the card has'nt been used for some time
then it will work in you tm 6900 with the latest patch and if you set
the receiver menu it will keep the card active for you,and it wont need returning to a official receiver from time to time to keep it active
and being a freeview card you can enter any official s*y receiver number the card is not receiver paired

on your 6900 press menu, goto system information, press ok on cas,
then press yellow button, you will see card+ enter your S*Y box serial number and it will auto update..

did get everything working, but did have to carry out a full rescan to get the various stations identified, entering the pids directly did not work.

Just want to double check on the exact procedure for ensuring the card remains activated in the tm box, as I think the s*y box is suffering from terminal bulging capacitors and will not be living for much longer.

Just followed your fimware update for 6900 and now got Sky card working on my Technomate! Thanks again
