    will this work?

hi, i am looking to take the plunge into buying a technomate tm 3000 my question however is about my dish equipment. i am looking at buying this Technomate TM-2300 Super DiSEqC 1.2 / USALS / Go To X Satellite Motor | eBay

will this allow me pick up all the satellites once ive got it in. am i heading in the right direction with this or do i need something different? i just wanna be 100% sure that i'm getting the right equipment before i go barreling headlong into this.
i have a standard s*y dish already installed its a brand new 1 too i don't know if that makes any difference.

Hi. Nice motor and easy to set up. Shame about the dish as you wont be able to pick up many satellites . I always say that you need a dish size of at least 1m to 1.2m with these type of motors to enjoy the benefits. I suppose you could always try with a Sky dish and see how many you get for your location etc. Also with a larger dish it gives you better signal quality in bad weather etc.

    Regards

        Stay away from TM3000 series.
No support and no channel editor either also it's SD.

skybox f3 is cheap on ebay but no epg although hd dont like the way its setup for channels.look on ebay about ?50.dreambox 800hd pvr clones are good lots of support for them on here and other sites, with time your learn the box.im not technical at all but got there in the end.you can setup 7day epg.ebay around ?120 or go for dreambox 800se clone easy to setup for wireless, bigger fan for cooling.with the pvr clone best to have a laptop cooling fan to stop box from over heating.
