technomate lnb input-loop out

Hi guys
i used to have a sly hd box with 2 lnb cables going into 2 female connectors.
Now i have a technomate 5402-hd, if i connect 1 cable into the lnb input the picture isn't as clear as the sly hd box was.
If i connect the second cable into loop out i get a "no or bad signal"

Any thoughts guys?
How is your cable connection set 1 or 2 cables in

5402 is not dual tuner so can only take 1 coax from lnb and I would advice you to check your cable and connections as the picture quality on 5402 is as good as if not slightly better than a sly hd box. The loop out is actually an rf out and is used for distributing picture to another source so you won't have any sat signal if you put the lnb in into an out socket
