SCT no signal ?

Hi

can anyone confirm that SCT on 13E 11727 V is working ?

since yesterday i have problem to receive this transponder ,
for few minutes signal is ok ( around 80% quality ) and then drop to 0%

i have tm 6900 and dm 500 and 2 double lnbs pointing 13E and 4.8E on same dish
on both receivers have the same symptoms

already did swap lnbs with each other but nothing changed
two days ago connected dm500 and dont know if this caused the problem or if its problem from broadcaster ?

ps. can my post be moved to general satellite section please ?

Thanks benny/9 but 100 % it's not card related problem . I have the card in the receiver fully paid . To make it clear even fta channels from this frequency behave same way . Few minutes signal is strong and then drop suddenly to 0% and stay like this for 15 or more minutes and coming back again to 80% . For 2 years I had no problems till 2 days ago when I connected dm500, so am wonder if that's some fault with my installation or problem with signal from sattellite ?

Hi. Do the other channels like RAI etc work ok?? If you are getting same problem on both receivers it sounds like an installation problem ie check LNB and cables are connected properly. Also have you tried to retune the frequency??

mine works on the protek but i see the list of sct channels have dropped to about 5 but only one says sct.

Hi. On my TM5400 SUPER i have just tuned in 6 SCT channels ie SCT 4, SCT 5, SCT 6, SCT 7, SCT HQ, SCT HD. Signal quality over 90%.

yes RAI etc work ok .
already deleted faulty frequency and added again .
when sct and fta channels from this frequency 11727 V working ( 80% signal ) then both tuner have picture when signal drop to 0 it hapen on both at same time .

only thing which is common for tm 6900 and dm 500 is inverto twin lnb and it was working without any problems


already tried to swap lnbs from 13 E to 4.8 E but it didnt solve the problem .

the time am writing this am watching bbc arabic fta and sct channels on 11727 V without any problems with signal 80% quality .
am realy confused now

from both satelites 13 E and 4.8 E i have only problem with frequency on 13 E 11727 V exept that all work properly


and i cant find any information if there is any distruptions from broadcaster so i asume its fault with my instalation

Hi. If all other channels are working fine then i dont think its an LNB/installation problem. Also you have swapped LNB and 4.8east is fine so no way it can be LNB. It may be broadcaster doing some testing/upgrade work on channels. You need to confirm with someone else who is able to watch this channels. I have strong signals on SCT channels at the moment but no card to get pictures.

thank you . thats strange for me too , at this moment whole transponder seems to work fine no problems with fta and scrambled channels 80% signal .

hope its brodcaster not my instalation otherways whole weekend i will spend on the lader swaping lnbs and cables

Seen a couple reports of intermittent signal issues on SCT over passed couple of days.... So may be a transmission problem.

Though just checked on my box, and I'm getting good signal and they're clearing fine..

down every now and again
Working fine on my Vu+ at the same time but lower signal then usual.

can confirm on my box no fta sct working today , as well as dorcel tv not working, i have a paid freextv card, french lover and freextv ok, just the above channels
