Technomate TM500 frozen on boot screen

    Hi guys
I hope someone could point me in the right direction please.
My brother has a Technomate TM500 that is frozen on boot screen, it won't go past the boot screen.
He said the receiver was flashed before and it worked but the guy who did it is now not reachable.
I would like to help him sort it.
Can someone tell if this can be fixed? And how please?
    Thanks in advance

      Hi
      I checked your link.
On the TM500 Linux, I can see there is 3 different update files, which one do I get?
And do I flash, do I need a special cable for that, and which one please?
      Thank you

Hi check the downloads section under satellite page three there should be image and tut on mini web there. Hold power button on tm then switch on whilst still holding button you will then see last digits of ip on box. You can flash it via mini web.

It can be fixed but not by the Miniweb TUT for this you will need a null modem cable and the original software, The same thing happened to me and this was the only solution

          Code:
          http://www.technomatesoftware.co.uk/index.php?dir=Linux%20based%20receivers/Guides/&file=TM500-600%20serial%20update.pdf
