    5402 keeps freezing

Is this caused to overheating? It's on a shelf and nothing is on top of it, it's also not in a cabinet so I don't see how it is overheating if it is. Anyone else got this problem?

    Cheers

How do you mean freezing and i hope this question does not lead to what the ADDON does, have you enabled the internal fan at all in the menu as it can be turned on and off

A lot of people have manic and 120p but my box just won't run them. HD on 125p on my box is unbearable freezing every 15 seconds or so or just going off completely and not coming back on until I change channel.

I mean the whole box freezes, I can't change channel, turn off etc. I have to switch the box off at the back.
What do you mean by what the adding does?
I have the fan turned on but I can't see it or hear it when the unit is on.
I have moved it off my DVD player and placed on my wooden unit shelf, seems to have solved the problem, think the heat off the surround sound/DVD unit was heating the reciever up more.

Just a little off subject, how do I record more than one channel? Just tried with a USB stick and if I want to change channel I have to stop recording? Do I need more tuners? Cheers

Highlander- I only tend to watch the hd channels so not sure if it does it on sd channels or not

The ADDON is what gives you the CCcam/Newcamd options which leads to a subject we cannot discuss on here.

You can only record and watch a different channel on the same transponder.

                          The addon is fine.

Is that the same with a triple tuner and a quad lnb?

No with a twin or triple you can record different channels on different transponders and different polarity's H/V
