5402 skylink irdeto czech not working in sreader

Hi guys bought new 5402hd ci and tried my skylink irdeto card in it and its not working. is there any way to load some patch etc. to get it work. i dont want to buy ci+ cam untill know that smart c. reader will not take it after patch or sw. any ideas? thanks

Thanks for R. well i phoned them and they said that it will not work because czech irdeto cards are ci+ and this is only ci reader. also said they are working on newer model 5502 with twin t. and ci+ support. what a shame think about return of this rec. or need to buy cam modul

Box says CI+, so at least a cam will be ok.

yeah well what can i do only to buy the cam modul but if i knew that will need to buy one then would go better for vu+ min. solo or duo. cost me know 190. and the socket at the back is moving so trying to exchange just mailed to the dealer.

To be fair to the dealer, it's not his fault if you don't what will work with what, that's for you to ask around and find out.

However, if it was the dealer that said it would work & it doesn't, then as Manic says, return to them & ask them to replace with something that will work.

Yes, fair point that.

I got a new TM5402HD a few weeks back & it had crushed RF & Aerial sockets on the back but i managed to sort them out with some pliers.
