TM-500 HD

Could anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can get support and a downloadable user guide for this receiver please? I understand that info is scarce for various reasons...but am looking none-the-less.

have you tried Google? dream-box manual comes very close, if not too close. i have used dream-box manual to solve techno-mate problem in the past

Thanks for the link...the list seems to be for a TM-800,and the menu to the left only brings up 2 pieces of info for the 500HD.
Could I use the stuff for the 800 in order to sort the other,as I was told that the 500HD is a stripped-down version of the former? Curiouser and curiouser...

I have Googled indeed...it is a pig I must admit...feel as if I have really shot myself in the foot...in-fact "stumpy" may be now my new name ...that said,this Dreambox mention has given me a glimmer of hope...which models manual will I need please?

The 500HD is a cut down version of the Tm800Hd so best advice i can give you is to search information on the 800HD

I do recall a Tm fanboy saying THIS would probably be the closest you will find to a user guide for it though

I seem to recall the one that came with the box didn't tell you much about the box and its use as it was a piece of paper folded in 4

Ps ... maybe start a thread on what you are trying to do ... whilst peeps may not have a Tm500Hd i'm sure there is enough know how flying around to point you in the right direction so to speak.

The guide is for a Dm800.

The Tm 800 / 500 are only really supported by the community ... so what you need to do is ask for help with what you want to achieve. Most of what you want probs is not covered by the instruction book anyway

Personally i would sell it on Quick as this is another one of TM's forgotten created mistakes exactly the same as the TM800.

Funny you should say that...apparently,it is that bad,that the seller has actually refused to sell it to me...!...reason being that it buggered up several times within 40 minutes and support issues...re-igniting my faith in mankind-he kindly refunded the dosh without question...

I consider this a lesson learned
