i have a 1m dish

alsat supreme intelligent dark motor

techno 5402

ive tried to move dish to thor 1.0 w

and others

the only way the dish moves if i click go to reference but it always goes back to 28.2

i can't get the dish to move anywhere else

see if you can check make sure the limit is off on the box or reset the motor

Hi. Are you using USALS or 1.2 to move the dish??. Can you see the dish actually moving??. If using USALS dish will always move unless problem with cable or motor. Also remember if you were watching channels on 28.2 and then went into menu to move dish to different sat then when you exit menu it will go back to 28.2 . You need to select a sat from SAT button (this is assuming you have other sats setup). If using 1.2 you need to find the sats manually and store their positions otherwise motor wont move.

the dish moves say when i change to 16e but i get no signal after its moved

Hi. Can you see the dish actually moving?? Is the green light on motor on??. Do you get pictures on 28.2 east - if yes then it means your dish is out of alignment( as it cannot be LNB/cable problem). Also try using the POS button on remote and nudge dish manually to see if you get a picture. Hope this makes sense.

Just a heads up on this last year they had a lot of returns on the Darkmotor, and a certain warehouse i use does not stock them anymore due to the problem your outlining here, If you think everything else is fine in the system then it points to the motor.

Yeah like i always say.. you cant beat a good motor like the TM2600.
