I've got 2 Technomate units. 1 x TM-6900HD and 1 x TM-5400 CI+ Super.
Both have been patched and same key file applied. 5400 box via null modem cable, 6900 via USB stick. Obviously the STB file was receiver specific, but the same key file was loaded on both.
Not I find the 5400 unlocks channels on Thor, e.g. discovery, but the 6900 cannot unlock anything on Thor... if this simply because the 5400 STB file was "better" than the 6900 STB file, or is the 5400 unit better at unlocking channels than the 6900?
Hope this makes sense. Need to decide which box I use in the living room, which in the bedroom.
