    ESPN America

Until recently I could watch ESPN America on 19E with the latest patch and softcams, but it's now no longer clearing. Has there been a key change - or is it just me?

    I have a Technomate 6800HD (non-super)

Is there any indicator if this is a temporary or permanent withdrawal?

Is the 'they' referred to the patchmaker? Any known reasons as to why it happened now?

A devastating blow for me, much of my satellite viewing was on this channel.

Hi baseball.. I am afraid it is permanent unless Viacess 4 is hacked. problem is that so many channels are now not available like before due to stronger encryption systems. The they you refer to is actually the channel providers and not the patchmakers. Providers ,unfortunately for us, have a number of codes and encryptions that they can use to block illegal viewing. But who knows what the future may bring.. its up to the patchmakers to make us happy like years ago.

        Regards.

the "they" is csat as they are gradually removing prov 022610 from the last of their channels as its via 2.6. there are other methods via lan that we cant discuss. nothing is permanent in this game and its been open for quite a while in via and in biss before that so its been a good run. i too am a baseball fan and although i have access to 90% of whats out there i always prefere to watch via emu/keys when possible. another one bites the dust im afraid, regards mdt

Thanks to Nutsandbolts and mdt for the clarification.

I got into satellite too late! Only had my dish up for a year.

I have a TM 5600 Super. A week or so on and I am missing what I used to have!

Are there any plug and play boxes (with lan) that are still working/on the market that will offer this channel on either 9.0e 13.0e or 19.2e?

                  Thanks
