    a gentle nudge please

hi, i have recently acquired a tm 1000d for a reasonable price. my question is, do these still work for the receipt of s*y channels. i know there is no c/s chat allowed i'm ok with that i just need pointing in the right direction of creating an internet connection. found a couple of tuts all pointing towards wsp but that is impossible to find and they all seem to be dated around 2010 so i'm beginning to think i now have a freeview box at best. somebody tell me i'm wrong please.
    thanks.

Unless there is some way you can get the data transferred from your PC through the RS232 port which is what they do with the Softcam keys then your pretty much stumped and as far as i recall you cannot get that type of data transferred through.

So its pretty much a Freesat receiver

its not all doom and gloom if you have a motorised dish as the tm1000d should still get you football/movies/xxx/ ect and there is a great deal of stuff fta aswell. if your limited to a fixed dish at 28.2e theres still a great deal of decent fta stuff available with your box. regards mdt

The patch you need for SSSP is

                .................................

The SSSP = 9797 when patched with the above.

                S/cam is also available. jamsb.
