technomate 5402 hd firmware not writing to receiver

can any one help firmware 126 ,127 & 128 non if these i have been able to load on to my received after loading it to usb stick
it just says writing failed
when i load previous versions 124 or 125 they are ok from the same usb stick ,
i have downloaded software & always click & dragged it on to usb always & never had any problems till version 126 onwards any advice on this pls ?

did you un zip the file 1st before loading on the usb stick

yes the 2nd time i did unzip it with winzip but still same error came up writing failed came up

did you download it from the technomate download centre from here have you downloaded the latest one and tried that

i will try again unzipping may not have done it properly will report back when i have tried it

127 patch for 5402 hd you dont have to unzip it have just tried,are you shure you are downloading the correct patch?

yes have tried patches 126 then 127 & 128 non of these load, error says invalid stb file & doesnt load i have been trying today to unzip & load but not working , even though previous ones load ok i.e 124 125 patches are ok. also when i drag and dropped on to usb stick it shows on my pc as on the usb but as i have made duplicate copies they dont all show when usb stick connected to tm5402 box
i only want u tube working.
i have downloaded latest files from technomate download centre

when i unzip these latest files using winzip extract them message says incomplete as they are part of a set
if i pm someone my email can you email patches see if that works anyone?

Hi naz7. Are you using the correct patch for your model remember for the TM5402 there is a M2 model as well as the basic model. They have their own patches and are not compatible with each other. Invalid STB message idicates wrong patch for your model is trying to be loaded. I use 7 zip program to unzip files. Make sure that filename after unzip has an extension of .STB before you put it on the USB otherwise receiver wont be able to read it. Hope this helps you.

download from a different source and try 7zip or winrar,regards mdt

finally got it sorted and loaded now ,i loaded it directly to an external hardrive which i use as a pvr and its loaded
so seems it was a dodgy usb stick that was to blame just so you know for next time. and u tube is working now.
