Technomate 3000 patches

Do I download all the patches and apply them or is there one that does all?
So far I have downloaded a loader and a couple of patches on to my laptop and am off to buy a cable to connect the receiver to my laptop today.I am sure Maplins will have it.
I have a 3100d receiver and on the remote could not see a usb button so shall attempt to all from laptop.

all you do is load the latest patch this overwrites all other patches
you dont load every patch, after you have loaded the patch you also
need to load the latest tm softcam to update the keys, you load a softcam the same way as the patch after first setting the loader panel to keys.

The 3100 doesnt have usb
