    Help with tm 600

    Hi, I've just been given a tm 600 & i'm trying to set it up just as a receiver at the moment but i'm struggling with just about everything, I've been trying to read up on it but all the posts are quite old. At the moment I've factory reset it & just put 39east on & scanned it & got quite a few channels, the fta ones work ok but I can not get diemma to open it just comes up scrambled. The reading I've done tells me that the softcams are loaded by pressing the red button, which I've done, but it still does not open. One of my questions is has the support for this finished? is there an up to date softcam for the 600? & if there is can I load it with usb? My other boxes are spiders & they are very easy to set up. Finally is there a complete set up guide for the 600? I thank you all very much for any help & advice given. I'm running with a motorised dish on usals all sats between 30W & 42E & the box shows firmware of 13/12/12.

    Use the tm mini web guide. You are on the latest firmware for the box. Checkout technomatesoftware.co.uk > software archives > linux based receivers > guides.

      Hi, thanks for reply been reading through guides & about as clear as mud to me at the mo. has the softcam update through the red button finished? or is there something else I have to turn on / off within the vast menu. On screen it says I have listed 2 softcams installed 1 for diemma & 1 for bulsat & it shows; default, cccam, mgcam etc. how should they be configured? Thanks again for any help.

          Thanks for reply but I'm still haveing no luck, do not know if I'm on the correct menu or what. What it shows when I press the blue button & put the code in;
          Smartcam V1.0, Default softcam, common interface/CCcam 2.2.01/mgcamdl.35a. 2softcams installed. Diemma softcam; Default/common interface /CCcam2.2.01/mgcamdl.35a. Bulsatcom softcam, I have the same choices as Diemma. I've tried installing latest softcam by pressing red button but do not know if it works because diemma still does not open so I do not know if I'm missing a menu or a page or perhaps even my mind. The box came from my "local" & it was all working upto about 3 weeks ago When they got a new system put in (vu+ solo) by a different company to the tm600.

            Still no replies, my main question is; does the red button softcam update still work? message flashes up on screen saying that it is, but diemma on 39e 12524 remains scrambled. I do not know if the people who installed the box have put some other codes in cos when I try to edit softcam message comes up saying "sorry cannot edit keys at this time" please someone give me some advice before I lose it altogether.

                you will have to update the softcam.key file yourself via FTP into /var/keys and then select mgcamd as the default cam

                  Hi, first of all thanks very much for the reply, 2nd, apologies for takeing so long to thank you but I had to take HER away in one of those things that go up into the sky when it's raining & when it comes down again it's all sunshine & beer (such a hard life). Now would there be any chance of explaining "how to", is there a tutorial on that I could read? if you could just point me in the right direction.
