not yet m8 never thought.. but i have the tp home plug in an extension. and people say they need to be in the real mains plug socket dont no how true this isComment

thanks m8 am trying that now direct in to main socketIt is best to try the plugs directly into the sockets rather than thru a extension lead or a surge protector, that's should sort out the freezing for you, unless of course it is down to your server.

I can confirm tp link 200mb home plugs work perfectly in extensions at one end or both ends or in wall socket on tm5402 (original version) and vu series receivers. Here's another little snippet of not so useless information. If you connect an ethernet switch to the home plug that's not connected to your router you can turn your single output homeplug into multiple outlet. 6 quid switch is a way better buy than 30 quid 4 port home plug and works just as well. I have vu solo and smart tv connected this way in bedroom and have plugged in lappy at the same time just for testing. All work fine and picture still didn't freeze when using lappy for basic surfing while watching solo. So you should have no problem with freezing being caused by homeplugsComment

What protocol (c or n, no need to say any more than that) are you using and what patch I can tell you now on some Patches on original tm5402 the c protocol is not good from a lot of providers I know this is correct cause I have tested exact same details on exact same channel within minutes of each other on tm5402 then on vu+, where it is unwatchable on tm but perfectly good on vu. If you must use a provider you really need to find a good one that runs n or mg both run under n on tm5402 and are way more stable than c. C works well if you have a good strong preferably local card on version of c that is compatible with the generic version that the tm5402 runsComment

Press the ip button the remote this will bring up the hidden details. You may want to try a different phantom patch to see if that makes any difference. I'm not sure what is the most stable for the m2. You won't lose your hidden details when you change the patch as these are completely separate from main firmware.Comment

If there is more than 1 set of details on c switched on at the same time it will freeze badly if it even works at all. You will find most providers that are running on c are over subscribed and only in it for the money with no care for compatibly. In fact all pay for providers are only in it for the money but those running n or mg have taken a bit more time to set it up for better compatibility. As you know we don't condone these guys on here at all and I don't think we can go any further on this subject without me stepping over the very fine line I'm treading. Best advice I can give you at this point is to find a provider on n or mg and try it out. I think you will be very surprised at the differenceComment
