skybox wont record after setting up f5 box
Since setting up my f5 box, my auto recoring on my sky box have stopped, I took the rf2 input out of my sky box to use on my f5 box, the original box still has the rf 1 input ,can anyone tell me why it wont now record??????

Due to the Fact that you took the second feed out of the official receiver and now use it in your F5.
When an official HD receiver is installed always with 2 feeds the box is set so it knows it has 2 feeds one to watch and one to record, if you only have 1 feed then you should have accessed the so called engineer's menu and activated the single feed mode on the HD box as this now tells the receiver it only has 1 feed and so will let you record only the channel you are watching.
My advice would be to run a patch lead from the F5 'loop out' connector on the box straight back into the Official HD receiver giving it back its 2 feeds.
Be warned the F5 must be in standby mode for the Loop Out Function to work
