Diseqc Swith TM5402 HD

Back again for a little more help and advice. I am using the tm 5402 on 2 sattelites, astra 28 and intelsat 907.
If I put the cable from the lnb directly into the box no problem. I was advised to get a 2 way diseqc switch which I have put from the lnb feeds and the single cable into the box. I do not get a signal using the switch. Can anybody please tell me if there is something within the setup menue that needs to be activated in order to initialise the switch. Many thanks.

you need to tell the receiver to look for the switch... in satellite set up select diseqc 1.0 mode then lnb1 for [email protected] and lnb2 for [email protected] or the other way around dependent on how you set the switch up. regards mdt
