    LOST DISNEY CHANNELS

I have lost most of the Disney channels on my two techomate TM-500 boxes & I have 2 very unhappy kids.

I contacted the guy who installed and sold the system for me & he told me that the channels had changed frequency & he could sort out both boxes for ?20 each. I am pretty sure that someone on here could provide me with the knowledge to do it myself saving me ?40. I hope.

If anyone does then I need the idiots guide please in English.

The Frequency's can be found here: Search Results for - KingOfSat scroll down to Astra 28.2? east 2E part and add the missing Transponder data

Menu - Setup - TP edit - Transponder edit = choose the satellite from the list on the left choose add then fill in the relevant Transponder data from the link above and Scan

        NO joy,

I have followed your instructions to the point where you go to transponder edit, on the right of the screen I have found 1114/27500/H which is what I got from the king of sat link.
You said I need to fill in the missing numbers & scan. The only options I have at this point are 4 boxes at the bottom of the screen which are SAT ADD EDIT REMOVE. Now I am stumped. Also I don't know what you mean by the missing numbers.

20 quid is a complete rip off. It takes less than a minute to upload a new channel list as that is all that's needed. Find yourself an enigma 1 channel list that's just been updated and send it to box using dream box edit (dbe) on enigma 1 setting. You will need your box password which you should have been given by the guy who set it up. Not sure if sgt flip flop still does e1. If you are struggling to find one give me a shout. Unfortunately due to rules I cannot link to my updated e1 list and can't upload it to this site as it would break the rules by its name alone.

id say ?20 per box is a bit steep but if a person running a business has to come to your address and alter the setting on your stb then he is going to charge you a call out fee anyway so id think ?30 is more realistic but if the guy is doing the installs for a living then he has to pay the bills. the O.P. has a choice either learn himself or pay someone for their knowledge, time, petrol and labour. regards mdt

The TM-500 is basically an Enigma1 satellite receiver so if you find an updated Enigma1 channel list you can upload to the box via Dreamboxedit using the Enigma1 channel settings

Read this guide here: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-guide-167275/ as i say alter yours for Enigma1

Fair comment mdt. I don't install for a living so have never really thought of it that way. Whoever set it up should be able to install a new list remotely with minimal input from the op

That's why I registered on this site in the hope of learnng how to do it myself by asking people wih far more knowlege than myself questions. Maybe you learned it by asking others?

I would say that I am being ripped off, as the guy lives no more than a mile away and both boxes are in the same house, so ?40 for 5 mins work is extortionate imo.

Follow digicons link for how to use dbe then look here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums....php?p=2224591 this e1 list appears to be kept fairly accurate. By the time you have learned to use dbe or should be updated to include Disney. But add I said earlier if you can't wait on that list but can use dbe give me a shout and I'll sort mine out for you
