cheers done that now what else do i need to update whilst its connected to pc

right i have updated the patch and sofcam but i am not getting any channels that are open
what channels should open i only get the nds channels on the box ore am i doing something wrong ?
can you name a nagra2 channel to see if i have got it or not

me and no motor but can get everything just wondering if i have tuned it in correct and am on right satalite thats why i wand the name of a naggra 2 channel

well what satellite were you hoping to get???

if on thor you should have nova sport, private spice, bbc world.....name a few channels that you have listed?

non of them loads of sky locked channels
alot of free view
im just wondering i put new patch and softcam lastnight do i need to add channel list file as well?

if you dont get any of them channels then you arent on thor 1w.....if your getting bbc1, 2, itv etc then your on astra2 (28.2e) (skys satellite) and no patch will give you any channels other than what you already have as sky isnt hacked

first what size is your dish? or are you useing a mini dish
that was set on astra at 28e?
when you move the dish to thor 1w look for bbc world news
this is a free to air channel and gives a strong signal so once you
get this chn open then you should find all the other nagra 2 digi-tv channels

thats whats up it is a mini dish but is set to astra so need a moter any one know were i can get a cheep one

i would recommend getting a totally new setup m8....if its just a standard zone 1 minidish (43cm) you wont get thor as dish will be too small.....my brother uses a zone 2 dish (60cm) and only just recieves it about 63% signal so as soon as it rains or anything it goes off.

got loads of channels nowfrom thor like bbc world but no signal can i just turn the sat by hand till i get a good signal
also got nova etcetc but no signal/bad signal
