    hi guys
    im new to all this
    got my technomate 1000 today
    now i know i need a motorised dish but going to get one i didnt want to spend a lot incase i havent a clue untill i learn
    so this is what i have at the moment
    tm1000 normal sky dish digital one
    now connected every thing up and got some channels
    but only free ones
    so my first question is whats the best setting for what i have got such as astra /eurobird ?theres so many so any help
    dont forget normal fixed dish
    just till i can get a hang of things and then i will get a motorised dish
    any help you guys thanks in advance

    you have everything your going to get from astra at 28e
    with a technomate and patch only and with just a mini dish you wont get much other than free to air chns on sats like astra at 28e or astra at 19e or hotbird at 13e the patch opens mainly digi-tv on thor 1w and some chns on
    sirus at 4.8e and a mini dish is to small to get a good signal from these sats.

      thanks how do i know what patch it has installed on my machine
      do you have a link for the latest on i can use cheers

        I used to receive 23.5 east with my minidish before i hung a 1metre up pointing at 1 west.

            MINIDISH

            Honestly m8,had 23.5 through minidish just to test me tm5400 out also 19.2 like you said and 13 east.I in north east england and to tell ya the truth it easier hitting 23.5 with me minidish than it is with me 1mtr.
