TM 500 Super ?

Am I correct in thinking that this box will take Enigma 1 images. Just been given one to play with and thinking of trying PLi on it.

Would it flash with Dream Up? as its got a password on and I cant get to FTP to it.

Will only take Texhnomate specific software and I find using Technomate control centre the easiest for transferring firmware. You could also just point your browser to the LAN address of the tm500 and do it using TM miniweb

I find the standard online update will give you the latest iq image which is as old as the hills but I don't think there is support fur this receiver any more

I would forget the pli image and all other 3rd party img's for these stb's ... i tried all of them when they were released on my tm600 (which is a 500 super with usb ports)

All of them were buggy as hell and never worked as they should. The 500's and 600 were never well supported by img makers ... the best img i used was the IQ img wich you can download here

As for changing your password ... use the Tm control centre to set a new one ... worked on my 600 so should in theory work on your 500super ... if not read this thread ...

All sorted now. flashed the IQ image and factory reset the box and give it a new password.

Put Auto Bouquets on an old DM 500 to get the up to date channel list then DB Edit to copy the list to the TM.

All Honky Dory now.

can anyone please help,,,i have a tm 500super and have not got any clue how to put new boques on system,the image it has now is a iq but was put on system back in 2011 so well outdated,just want someone to try and explain to me how to change things around so i can update it so i can get to watch programs again,i know it a long shot asking for so much advice but if you dont ask you dont get,as they say,thanx in advance.

If the image works leave it alone. Support stopped for this box not long after that anyway. Find yourself a up to date E1 bouquet and install it using dbe

Hiya thanx for reply,,,my box does not work,,,,or i dont know how to make it work,as all i have done is to power it up but cant watch anything but free stations,,also i know what is meant by you saying E1 but i dont understand dbe....so anymore help would be greatly appreciated thanx.

If your box is only connected to a satellite point at 28.2 (sky uk) or any other satellite for that matter you will only receive free to air, unless you have keys installed for some euro packages or the unmentionable for everything else. It won't matter how new your image is or your channel list if you don't know how to clear the $ channels free to air is all you will ever receive and that part we can't help with

Hello I am new to this and need some help. Recently I replaced the LNB on my satellite dish as the old one stopped working, I have a technomate tm500 and used to receive all the channels however after installing the new LNB a lot of the channels now say wrong data transmission such as sky sports 1 and even some free to air channels. Some premium channels work but a lot don't and when I do a scan it only picks up 398 channels when it used to pick up about 700 before. Can someone help me please?

Could be a number of things but probably check skew on lnb and fitting on sat cable and positioning also sounds like dish is misaligned now as you are only getting a small amount of channels on a scan. hth

Start with easy option check cable connections first but only box option is putting a new bouquet list on this should sort some wrong data transmission channels but if you have done a scan the new found ones will be in all channels and you can manually move them into bouquets. If your only pulling 300+ after scan more than likely dish lnb problem. hth
