Which Set Top Box

Got 6900 super in living room -

I want to use channel 8281 so kids can watch their channels around house. The I can watch me sport in peace.

Which cheap box does anyone recommendto do the job.

i.e 6900 super in living room........another 2 STB's in 2 kids room.

The usual kids channels i.e Disney / Sly Movies / Sports etc

PC knowledge is above good / FTP good, but can learn quick...... if you know what I mean.

Okay to watch sky channels you will need a valid sub unless you learn how to cardshare. Google is your friend for that as we dont allow that stuff here but i can tell you that you will need a receiver like a dreambox

the technomate stb will still be around for a while, but you will need a card ,since not much is open these days...hence why I suspect the other mention of Linux based stb's was raised..this is the way of the future.

Okay the dm500s is the cheapest dreambox and the best one to get your head around this stuff.
You will need to google cardsharing to open anything more than your tm with this receiver .

Geta TM600, they have 2 scarts and rf out as well. DM500 has 1 scart and no rf out. Better tuner as well.
